This is a procedure that some people are a bit surprised to learn that we offer. We have to admit that this was not an open day service that we offered. The main reason why we decided that it would be a good idea to offer these particular services was because we saw that a lot of concrete companies were not exactly experts in color mixing and creating unique designs. They can get the job done no doubt about it. We felt though that we had a lot to offer in the design department if you will.
What Types Of Concrete Surfaces Can You Stain?
We are going to be able to stain garage floors, driveways, patios and virtually any type of concrete surface that you would want us to stain. There are a couple of factors that go into ultimately providing a good finish. A couple of them are things that we certainly excel at! As we mentioned we’re going to be able to offer up a unique design that we’ll know how to perfectly execute. We’re not just going to be throwing paint on the surface and hoping for the best. Also, staining is a process and you have to be very mindful of allowing the process to play out. Specifically letting the ground dry out before you add different layers.
Can All Concrete Surfaces Be Stained?
What we never want to do is promise that our services are going to repair all of the imperfections that you can spot in your current settings. Yes, staining concrete can help cover up some of the naturally occurring cracks in the concrete surface. That doesn’t mean that staining is going to be a solution to all of your problems. We could encounter situations where we would recommend that you have the surface repaired before we stain it. Any recommendation is done in good faith to be able to provide a good result for you at the end of the day.
How Long Does The Process Take?
For the most part this is going to be a process that’s going to take at least a couple of days to materialize. Can we reduce the time that it takes? No, because most of the “time” that it takes up it does so just to allow the surface to settle in. We are big believers that allowing the stain to settle in accordingly is about 80% of the whole ordeal.
Can An Outdoor Surface Be Stained?
Yes, we’re going to be able to stain outdoor areas. Of course, if we have to get these surfaces to settle in we don’t want rain or other types of things getting in the way. Therefore, it is safe to say that certain “uncovered” outdoor areas like patios and walkways can be much more of a challenge. Particularly in certain parts of the year. That doesn’t mean that we are not going to be able to get the job done right though.
